All researchers of the Collegium share a long experience of working in the Caucasus, and know the region’s history, culture and society well. We speak several languages of the region, and are academic experts in the field. For over 30 years we have explored and developed Caucasus Studies, with particular focus on language, culture and society.
The Collegium forms a forum for Caucasus Studies researchers and lecturers, offering a common space for interaction, academic discussion and joint research activities and lecturing.
